“Rose Petals” is work of paper, created by placing seven groups of “petals” (hand-cut from heavy Arches cold-press paper) in successive layers to create a unique, three-dimensional view of a rose blossom. The finished work was mounted to archival black mat board and then placed in a black shadow box frame, as pictured above.

The first version of "Rose Petals" was sold during the Dayton Visual Arts Center's 14th Annual Art Auction.
