Dalby Church

In June 2001, I visited Sweden with my wife and parents. We traveled there to attend the wedding of two family friends and prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents provided us a guided tour of their country. On June 12, one of our visits on was to Dalby, site of the oldest church in Sweden. This painting is the first of two, both based on several photographs taken during the visit on that sunny day, when the sky was full of clouds.
