Venice Balcony

When I visited the Italian city of Venice, the contrast of textures and colors formed a vivid memory: the crumbling stucco, with dark cracks
and multiple layers — some with ancient brick peeking through; the walls painted in a rainbow of faded colors, from dark crimson to parchment
white. Straps of rusty iron and bolts held the buildings together and each structure had a balcony overlooking the narrow alleyways and
canals. This painting recalls one of those balconies, decorated with flowers and reflecting the blue Italian sky.
